Your assistance is needed...

Hi Parents,

We are starting a new planner! I am in need of lots of materials for science experiments!
Here's a list of what I need....if you can help out just send them with your child. Thanks!

Dixie cups
Joy dishwasing liquid
Empty water bottles
Vinegar
Baking soda
balloons
Sealable plastic baggies
Ice cube tray
Plastic Spoons!

Just a few things...

Hi! Just wanted to let you know that this week we finished up graphing and are starting addition facts to 18.

As we prepare for Stanford please, please, please review math facts with your children. I have noticed that while most of the kiddoes understand the concept of addition and subtraction they are still struggling to recall addition and subtraction facts. I'm still seeing a lot of guessing and not many strategies being used for addition. Counting on, counting back, using a number line, even using fingers is ok! If kids can recall math facts now with no problem it will make math in the upper grades sooooo much easier so pull out those flash cards! :) Thanks for your support!
Thank you so much for the gift cards and sweet gifts on Monday! I truly appreciate them and it really made my day!

Picture Issues....

I just realized that for some reason when I post pictures they aren't showing up on the blog as the full size...if you click on the picture you will be able to see the whole thing as well as all the pictures in the series.

Home project....due February 27th

A home project is going home with the homework this week. In the explanation it says we read a book called How Did That Get In My Lunchbox. Our class read another book called how to Make an Apple Pie and See the World....different book, but same concept. The project is due February, 27th.
